Maryland has released their plan for improving fan behavior at games. The plan was created by a student task force and includes only voluntary compliance. I think that’s a good first step – college students should be able to police themselves.

  • Marcus Melvin is waiting for tomorrow’s NBA draft. He won’t be surprised if he isn’t drafted, but he still thinks he can can make it. I’m not sure what I think. He’s very skilled, but I’m not quite sure he has NBA-caliber talent. If he makes it, it’ll be as a glue guy like former…

  • This is an interesting article about a camp run by the NBA Players Association for top high school ballers. The camp has sessions where they try to teach the players’ parents to stay actively involved in the recruiting process. It’s a great message, but I wonder why it’s coming from an NBA-based organization and not…

  • Jason (Jay) Williams is still fighting to recover from his motorcycle accident injuries and return to the NBA. I wish him luck, but I’m pretty skeptical.

On brutally tough day, one of the toughest in US Open history, Goosen kept his composure and his lead.…

  • This is always one of my favorite Sports Guy articles – ranking NBA players by their trade value. I laughed out loud at the Vin Baker joke. This is actually Part 1. Part 2 will be out tomorrow, I guess.

  • A New Zealand boxer is headed to the Olympics after serving four years in prison for killing his 5-month-old child. Since his release in 1999, he has been convicted seven times for other offenses, including assault. Sounds like a model Kiwi that they can be proud of.

  • This will be a very interesting off-season in the NBA. This is a great breakdown of how Shaq could or couldn’t go to every team in the league.
