Lance Armstrong had an incredible day today. He completely dominated the time trial up L’Alpe D’Huez, beating the second place finisher, Jan Ullrich by 61 seconds. Devin Smith played most of last season for Virginia with a herniated disk in his back. He never even practiced after December, but yet remained UVA’s best player. He has had surgery now and appears to be healing quickly. Who knows how good he could be if fully healthy.
