Who would you rather have, Kobe or Shaq? The Lakers seem to be saying Kobe. I would assume that’s due to Shaq’s age, an old 32, and recent conditioning. (BTW, thanks to the DBR for great links today – I’m basically copying their selections.)
Now this is a nutty rumor. Spurrier to UNC. Sounds crazy to me, but people keep talking about it, even the The Chronicle at Duke. I have a hard time believing that a guy who still seems to love Duke so much would coach at UNC. But then, Spurrier loves to agitate, doesn’t he?

BACLO founder Victor Conte sent a letter to George Bush offering to “reveal everything he knows” about athletes and coaches in return for a light sentence that will keep him out of jail. It’ll be very interesting to see where this goes. I bet there are some very nervous, muscular athletes out there.
