It’s official now, Shaq is being traded to the Miami Heat for Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Brian Grant and first round draft pick. I think it’s a good deal for the Lakers. Is it an even swap? No. But, there aren’t really any even swaps for Shaq and the Lakers’ hands were tied once Shaq demanded a trade. They had no hope for an even trade, but getting two good young players and a banger in Grant is not too bad.
