Ken Pomeroy makes a good (albeit brief) case for putting more time on the shotclock. He advocates going back to a 45 second clock and his plan is to increase scoring. It sounds counterintuitive, but his theory is that it would give teams more time to find good shots against zone defenses. Fewer zones means faster paced, more interesting games.
